The design prompt given to our class was to find a local event and create an ident for it. As a lover of all things vintage-- the music, fashion and class, I immediately thought of "The Roaring 20s Lawn Party" hosted at the Crane Estate in Massachusetts every summer. With Boston swing bands playing and attendees dressed up in period appropriate attire, I have wished to go and figured it would be the perfect event to create a promotional video for, as I have a love and understanding of that period's aesthetic.

We were tasked to create storyboards for our video, and create production shots of how the final ident would be created. There were many routes I could see my concept going in, but ultimately decided that the medium of stop motion and a limited color palette invoking 2-color film tones would best suit the event and the audience of vintage lovers that I know would have their interest peaked if this showed up on their social media home page.
